5 new bird stamps from Italy - part 2

 

 

The program 2013 of the issues of the Italian Post Administration lists a set of stamps featuring the "Birds of the Alps", joint in a MS. The issue should comprise 5 stamps. The species involved are: Capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus), Grey Woodpecker (Picus canus), Ptarmigan (Lagopus muta), Boreal Owl (Aegolius funereus) and Lammergeier (Gypaetus barbatus). To be issued on 4th December 2013, it will be the last one of the year for Italy.

A suggestion for rubbing the shiny surfaces of the postcards to realize Maximum cards: a sponge scourer (washing sponge).

This tool stay in the middle between an eraser (sometimes too light) and an emery paper (often too rough). Try, it works on a number of different poscards, it is safe and fast !
